Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s relationship may have taken a different turn. But their kids continue to bridge the gap between the two. Kim Kardashian’s children share a special bond with their dad, especially 10-year-old North West. Recently, North West and Kardashian teamed up on their TikTok account and lip-synced to one of Kanye’s hit songs from 2013, ‘Bound 2’. It took no time for the video to go viral on the web.

Days after the mother-daughter duo shared the video in their flash icy jewelry, Kanye West’s 2013 song hit a new milestone on the streaming platform, Spotify.

Kanye West’s ‘Bound 2’ was the last track from his sixth studio album, Yeezus, which featured Kim Kardashian in the music video. A decade after its release, Kardashian and her eldest, in an attempt to remember their father on Thanksgiving day, lip-synced “I’m tryna perfect, And ay ayo we made it to Thanksgiving, So ay, maybe we can make it to Christmas”. The wave that this TikTok created, probably contributed to the streaming hike of the song on Spotify, making it cross an 800 million milestone.

A few weeks back, North West posted another video on TikTok recreating one of Kim Kardashian’s iconic looks. The 10-year-old wore a velour sweatsuit, big sunglasses, and straight hair, to replicate her mother’s look from Sydney Airport in 2006. While Kanye West is reaching milestones on Spotify, his nemesis, Taylor Swift broke her own record on the very same streaming platform.

Taylor Swift also broke her own records with ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ one of which was set by her 2022 album ‘Midnights’, which was her 10th studio album. ‘Midnights’ also became the most-streamed album in a single day two years ago and also made Swift the most-streamed artist in a single day on Spotify. In the Spotify showdown between Kanye West and Taylor Swift, do you think West’s upcoming collab with Ty Dolla $ign will outdo Swift’s records?
