Prior to settling down with Bianca Censori, Kanye West endured his fair share of romantic tumult. Before reaching the destination of domestic happiness, he navigated through the unpredictable twists and turns of the romantic landscape. While his rocky affair and separation with Kim Kardashian is one for the books, there was another ex, Amber Rose, whose news had kept the headlines storming for quite a while.

Even though the buzz of that headline has died out and West has found his home in Censori, in the wake of recent developments, Rose has resurfaced on the tabloid notification for asserting a staggering $20 million compensation most suddenly.

Why is Amber Rose contending a million-dollar bill claim to Kanye West? 

On Wednesday’s The Jason Lee Show, Amber Rose appeared as a guest for the most shocking revelations after her split with Kanye West. Lee was quick to ask Rose if she ever got any “credits” or “points” for playing a crucial role in Nicki Minaj’s verse inclusion in West’s ‘Monster’ track from ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’. As Rose nodded negatively, she also added that she “should have gotten $20 million from My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy,” However, she got nothing.

Rose further revealed that he also owes him compensation for allegedly using her wax figure for the infamous music video of ‘Famous’ without her consent. However, for that as well, she saw no kind of consideration. As per her, she should have gotten at least some sort of compensation for utilizing her “likeness” in so many of his tracks. Pressing on the subject of the “wax figure” especially, she revolted that someone should have at least paid her for using her “likeness” instead of random people owning up to “I was one of the people who created your wax figure”. 

Even though Rose also added having chosen her “mental health” over these hard feelings, here is what led to the full-blown disclosure from her end.

All about the foundation of Amber Rose’s allegations

In a 2022 interview on the Higher Learning podcast, Amber Rose shed details on how she was the reason behind the iconic verse from Nicki Minaj on West’s ‘Monster’ track from ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’. She was quick to confess that she was the one to convince West to have her longtime friend on board. As per her, West did not know Minaj all that well back then. Hence, Rose was the initiator.

Now, moving on to the feud over the wax figure. Rose has been one of those bodies from West’s past who has defended the infamous conflict between Swift and Ye at the VMAs, but when it came to the infamous music video of ‘Famous’, she really could hold out no longer. Hence, in an episode of The Amber Rose Show in 2016, she called out the rapper for using a naked wax figure without her alleged consent. Although it has been years since the fall-off, Rose’s sudden call for compensation makes one ponder if the flicker of that fire is yet again igniting.
