Kanye West’s $1.5 Million Cornerstone Church Remains Desolate, Sparks Rumors of Abandonment
Kanye West has come back into the musical arena with outstanding promises, fueling the changing landscapes of listening parties. But while he was away, he found redemption in the service of God, as was once revealed by the rapper to Joe Rogan. Furthermore, his uncharted road of devotion soon led him to his purchase of a $1.5 million church building. It was the Cornerstone Christian Church in Northridge in Los Angeles’s San Fernando Valley.
Yet, several months later, to his bid, reports have been on the horizon that the Cornerstone Church building has been left in desertion since his acquisition.

About three years ago, in a conversation with Joe Rogan, Kanye West touching on his hiatus from the rap genre, said that he “didn’t know how to rap before God.”. However, earlier this year, the conduct of his purchase of the Cornerstone Church emerged amidst his worldwide tour with Bianca Censori. Not even a year to its procurement, reports from The Sun suggest his alleged abandonment, citing the overgrown weeds and shut windows.
Soon after the possession of the church building, Ye was supposedly planning to shift the Donda Academy over there. Despite the big plans, accounts suggest that no sign of any major renovations has been in the works. Instead, windows boarded with blanks followed by littered front ways and a broken door have been evidence of possible negligence.
While the descriptions allegedly attest to forsaking, it also recurs the instance when his deal was confronted with several petitions.

Even after 18 months of hiatus, Kanye West’s retreat was a stirrer of a sizeable ignition. His break from the musical career had no shortcomings in his bagging of the title of the Best Gospel Artist for the Billboard. While his influence is truly destined, it did not seem to work with his church properties’ neighbors. As a result, a supposed petition emerged, affirming about 12,000 people’s disapproval of Ye’s buy.
Despite the cornering, the rapper successfully bargained his way with plans of moving mountains. As of now, accounts of neighbors reporting the emptiness have been on the upsurge. However, considering West’s devotion, it is difficult to corroborate whether it is his alleged disregard or if he is sneakily onto working something big for the church.
