A new BBC documentary on the hip hop mogul Kanye West, The Trouble With KanYe, dropped in with a plethora of revelation bombs on 28 June 2023. It apparently covers Ye’s wild tactics and strategies to conquer the 2024 Presidential run. And well, it is pretty clear that Ye may be moving on with his new wife, but the ghosts of his controversial past will not leave him anytime soon.

The 74 minutes documentary sees the award-winning journalist, Mobeen Azhar, digging through the disturbing incarnation of the Donda Academy owner. And while allegations are playing hard on the Yeezus singer and his South California school, this has just piled up another stake. While visiting Cornerstone Christian Church, Ye’s frequent stop in California, Azhar notably met a person called Mark, who stays in a car outside the church.

Mark claimed Kanye West, with $400 million, sought the opinion of a homeless man (Mark himself) on the 2024 election run after others said he was the “most religiously erudite.” Furthermore, he also spilled beans on one of his meetings with Ye, stating that the Louis Vuitton don would look up to his “opinion on every topic that came up.”

Seems like Ye depended on him so much that he even asked Mark to become his Campaign Manager.

The interviewer in the documentary also heard Mark claim that Ye called him on one fine Monday morning and asked to take up “Campaign Manager” duty “to run for President.” Well, this not only “fascinated” the erudite, but he believed that “God chose me. We’re all actors.”

Kanye West notably pulled off the election back in April. As per the various media outlets, the ‘Mercy’ singer apparently wanted a little me time. In between there was a tumult of controversies with his antisemitic remarks and the ‘white lives matter’ Paris fashion haul, which then culminated into his shocking, if not surprising marriage to Bianca Censori. West would later hire Milo Yiannopoulos, an alt-right entity as his Campaign manager, and re-enter the election run in May. However, there has not been much news about West’s interests in politics since.
