Kanye West served his fans, the mother of all gifts, when he dropped ‘Vultures’ alongside Ty Dolla $ign for streaming, half a day behind schedule. Discarding the delays, fans took social media by a chokehold with first reactions, reviews, and sheer hype coming through. However, a major disappointment came crashing in when the album appeared to have missed Spotify and YouTube Music entirely out of its release without any plausible explanation or worse, without even a single official listing or an expected date.

With several listeners left in the lurch, the situation now turns out to be more complex than what appeared on the surface, judging by the team’s recent posts.

After months of clamoring, fans finally received ‘Vultures 1’ from Kanye West with a total of 15 songs and a runtime of 50 minutes. However, while many began to stream on Apple Music, Tidal, and the leaks, Spotify users, most notably, stood in the lurch. Now, taking to his Instagram stories, one of the album’s producers, The Legendary Traxster, posted a cryptic one-word of “Standby” while adding that “Nothing is gonna stop us”.

The story came right after Kanye West posted a screenshot of their conversation on his stories. Additionally, soon after, Ye added another clue, this time a monochromatic poster of Will Smith’s Independence Day hinting at a possible blockade of his music at the platform’s end. As of now, neither team has added any updates nor has the album dropped on Spotify and YouTube Music.
