Ye had a profound and intimate bond with his mother. Prior to her passing in 2007, West consistently expressed his deep love and admiration for her. As a tribute to her memory, he named this 10th studio album after his beloved mother. Released in 2021, the deluxe version of the album encompasses a staggering 32 tracks.

Despite being prohibited from performing at the event, ‘Donda’ managed to secure two Grammys for West. He even pulled out a $176,000 profit in 24 hours from the ‘Donda’ rollout in 2021. Notably, in 2019, an unreleased song named ‘New Body’ from the gospel album ‘Jesus is King’ was leaked. Unfortunately, due to ‘creative differences’ between Nicki Minaj and West, the song never saw an official release. However, a leaked ‘Donda’ version of ‘New Body’ featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign has now surfaced on Twitter.

Reportedly, Nicki Minaj made four attempts to adapt the lyrics of ‘New Body’ in order to align with the religious characteristic of West’s gospel album, ‘Jesus is King.’ Despite its potential for success, the song unfortunately never saw an official release, according to Minaj. However, with the recent leak of the Donda Version featuring Minaj, the song has garnered significant attention on Twitter, trending on the charts.

According to reports, the leaked version of ‘New Body’ is believed to have originated from the ‘Donda: With Child’ era, which served as a precursor to West’s album, ‘Donda.’ Initially intended for West’s unreleased project ‘Yandhi’, ‘New Body’ features verses from all three artists involved. Notably, the leaked 2020 version of the song also included verses from Desiigner and Ant Clemons.
