Kanye West has finally made his much-awaited comeback to the music scene. While he had been promising fans a collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign, it kept getting pushed. With everyone rushing to check out Ye’s latest album, the streams have skyrocketed the star above The Weeknd, and his rival, Drake, on Spotify.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), it was revealed that Kanye West had become Spotify’s #2 Top Global Artist after ‘Vultures 1’ had dropped. While the rapper had once been pretty high up on the list, recent times have seen Taylor Swift dominate the top spot. Although Ye might have a hard time trying to keep up with the pop sensation and her massive streaming success, it looks like the rapper might be in a league of his own.
Just a while ago, Spotify’s list had shown that the 46-year-old had been pushed out of the Top Ten. However, it seems as though he has managed to find his way back to the top. With the rapper claiming a top spot just a day after the release of his brand new album, there is no doubt that his Ty Dolla $ign collaboration is what pushed the father of four over the top.
While ‘Vultures 1’ seems to be doing extremely well, West shocked fans just hours after the album dropped as every track seemed to disappear from streaming platforms.
Kanye West’s ‘Vultures 1’ ran into technical issues
Yesterday marked a huge victory for fans of Kanye West. While some had lost hope in his ‘Vultures 1’ album release, thanks to the delays, others were still holding onto hope. Thankfully for them, the Ty Dolla $ign collaboration made its way online and floored everyone. However, just 6-7 hours after the album showed up on streaming platforms, it was suddenly removed for almost an hour.
