His real estate portfolio includes some of the most breathtaking properties available, reflecting his modern and minimalist aesthetic. Stretching across California, Wyoming, and everywhere in between, Kanye West has a real estate empire brewing. However, his dreams of becoming one of the world’s largest real estate investors are taking a nosedive because of his string of controversies and the subsequent loss of lucrative business deals.

Kanye West is gearing up to cash in big by putting his Malibu property on the market, which he acquired in a discreet deal in late 2021 for a staggering $57.3 million. West took it a step further by stripping the interiors before putting it on the market. Jason Oppenheim, who is listing the house exclusively, told People that the new owner will have to invest several million dollars to give the home’s insides a facelift.

According to neighbors who spoke to TMZ, Ye’s Malibu mansion has been unoccupied for several months, seemingly left to deteriorate. The property seems to be left in a state of disrepair without ongoing maintenance. While Ye’s Tadao Ando-designed spot is slowly falling apart, Kim Kardashian is happy at work with Ando, whom she met during a recent trip to Japan.

Kim Kardashian took to Instagram, offering a glimpse into her design discussions with Tadao Ando about her future home. The eighth photo in the carousel offered a sneak peek at her future mansion, while 3D-rendered designs of the planned home rested on the office table. Kardashian shared that they had been working for over two years. “So deeply honored and incredibly humbled to have the opportunity to work with him”, said the SKIMS mogul.

As per documents revealed by The Sun, Kardashian and Ando have plans to erect a “space-ship style” mansion in California. The design featured a distinctive rounded-edged triangle with a central void. The planned structure complemented Kim Kardashian’s well-known penchant for minimalist design. Meanwhile, Kanye West’s Malibu mansion, designed by Ando, languishes in a state of disrepair and non-use.
