Over the years, Kanye West has found himself in the hot seat more times than he can count. While the rapper had recently made headlines by claiming Adidas was suing him, the 46-year-old ended up shining the spotlight on one of his former employees, YesJuls. Although she had worked for the Yeezy brand and promoted the rapper’s ‘Vultures’ listening parties, the influencer had been terminated from her job after it was revealed that she had violated the terms of her NDA.

Now, just a week after the rather public falling out, Ye has reportedly chosen to take legal action against the American media personality.

Kanye West’s files lawsuit against YesJulz

In a now-deleted post to Instagram, Kanye West shared with his 20.3 million followers that he would be filing an $8 million lawsuit against YesJulz AKA Julianne Goddard. His post also stated that he was seeking that high of an amount as the influencer had violated the company’s non-disclosure agreement. The post also went into detail about the claims against the 34-year-old.

It stated that Julianne Goddard had committed “willful, reckless, and vindictive breaches of agreements she signed.” With the influencer sharing texts, emails, and more from the brand after she was fired, it looked like she might have landed herself in some rather hot water. However, once news of the lawsuit broke, the former Yeezy employee had her own response to the lawsuit.

Most people would have been freaking out about someone as known as Kanye West suing them. However, Goddard seemed to keep calm about the situation.

YesJulz shared her thoughts on the Kanye West lawsuit

Just last week, YesJulz was fired from Yeezy by Milo Yiannopolous for having unauthorized conversations with Kanye West fan pages. Since then, the influencer has exposed the chief of staff for using rather inappropriate language to describe the rapper’s fans. While that led to the Ye filing a lawsuit against the 34-year-old, she seemed to have remained calm about the whole thing.

Julianne Goddard ended up taking to her social media to laugh off the threat. She also ended up sharing a tweet that read, “Lol F**k MILO…try me you little b*tch.” While the influencer does not seem to be backing down, neither are West and his legal team.
