The gym freaks have always had a peculiar relationship with the music they listen to while pumping muscles. And it seems like Kanye West’s music rules their lot. Sure, he may literally be a controversy-creating machine. But when it comes to the realm of modern-day music, few names carry as much weight as Ye West. He is not only a trailblazing producer and musician but has substantially changed the history of modern music- redefining its boundaries and steering its course.
With a foothold in the industry, the Yeezus producer continued to work behind the scenes, producing hits for prominent artists like Alicia Keys, Ludacris, and Janet Jackson. His ability to blend soulful melodies with hard-hitting hip-hop beats became his signature style, setting him apart from other producers of his time.

And when we say “a trailblazer,” a spearhead, we do not only say because he has steered the course of hip hop music, but because Ye has seemingly established himself and his music as a driving force for the bodybuilders. How can we claim that? Well, Rap TV recently asked the Twitterati about their “favorite gym song,” and the majority of comments lead to only one single name: Kanye West!
The tweet also had a picture of a person pumping his arms with Donda written on his chest vest. It perhaps already suggested where the comments section would lead but it is perhaps Ye’s daring fusion of hip-hop with elements of pop, R&B, and electronic music that earned him praise.
Fans chose Kanye West’s music as their favorite workout beats
While many put an effort to provide a list of songs or even a link to their Spotify playlist, most of them just wrote Kanye West music. And even in the playlist, Ye seemingly tops. For instance, in one fan’s list, Ye has the most number of songs.
