Kanye West’s Plans for a World Tour Run Into Problems With His Brazil Concert Being Denied
2024 was supposed to be Kanye West’s official comeback to the music scene. However, ever since his ‘Vultures 1’ dropped last month, the rapper has been running into quite a few problems. Apart from the threat of his project being taken down from streaming platforms after its release, he also ended up leaving the future of his world tour up in the air shortly after his disappointing Rolling Loud set.
Fans of the Yeezy creator may have been looking forward to seeing the 46-year-old back on tour for the first time in years. However, those from Brazil may not get that chance.

According to reports from The U.S. Sun, it was revealed that Kanye West’s request to hold a free concert in Roi De Janeiro had been denied. Although his fans loved the idea, the Brazilian government was not too keen on letting Ye perform there, given his rather controversial behavior in the past. The rapper had also wanted to perform at Rio’s Maracanã Stadium and the Nilton Santos Olympic Stadium, but neither applications were accepted.
West’s world tour plans might be off to a rather rocky start. However, the father of four could still make it a reality just like he did with his ‘Vultures 1’ album. With the Yeezy creator planning on taking on the Middle East, Australia, and more, it could end up competing with Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour if Ye manages to book a performance.
Although Ye might be finding it hard to book a concert in Brazil, he recently stunned the world when he and Ty Dolla $ign took over Rolling Loud nearly two years after his last live performance.

Weeks ago, news broke that Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign could be headlining the Rolling Loud music festival. While fans had expected that to mean that the rappers would be performing songs from ‘Vultures 1’, they faced disappointment as it turned into another listening party. With the artists walking around on stage without a mic, while the music blared through the speakers, fans were less than impressed with their lackluster performance.
Although social media went into a frenzy over Ye’s performance, the rapper chose to stand by his decision to perform in such huge stadiums without a microphone and too much other equipments because that was what he believed added to the experience he wanted to give his fans.
