Kanye West May Not Drop ‘Vultures 2’ for Streaming at All, Asks for an Alternative Instead
In a re-enactment of a combination of mystery, hype, and disappointment that prevailed during the rollout of the first volume of ‘Vultures’, shrouded in delay, it now appears that Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign may not even drop the second volume. Amid a clamoring fanbase asking for new music, ‘Vultures 2’ missed its schedule of March 8 and has now run past two days without any official statement on the same. However, unofficially, shy details did sneak out from none other than the ‘Donda’ singer himself.
In the latest exchanges shared with a fan, the 46-year-old hinted at avoiding streaming platforms while exploring the possibility of an alternative.

On February 10, after hours of delay, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign finally sent live ‘Vultures 1’ on major streaming platforms like Apple Music, Tidal, and Spotify, although with a few hiccups. However, in an Instagram chat screenshot shared by Yefanatics on X (formerly Twitter), a fan page, disclosed their interaction where the rapper shared his plan to avoid streamers altogether and instead asked if they or the fandom could “get a million people to buy the album.”
Like ‘Vultures 1’ still lies hosted on the rapper’s Yeezy website, there lies some rationale around letting ‘Vultures 2’ gain exclusive sales only through it. According to West, by doing so, “we won’t have the streaming companies in control of the artist anymore”. Judging by the details, it appears that the scheduled album has run into troubles with streaming companies, and unlike the last time when record producer, Traxster came as the rescuer, things have turned unresolvable, at least at this moment.
When uncertainty prevails, the Y$ duo has at least lifted the veil off the album’s cover, which held a surprise.
Ty Dolla $ign and not Ye features on the latest album cover
‘Vultures 1’ featured Kanye West in a black mask and jacket alongside Bianca Censori as its album cover. However, for ‘Vultures 2’ the artists swapped themselves and it now has Ty Dolla $ign holding a portrait of his younger brother, Jabreal Muhammad aka Big TC, who currently serves a life sentence even after pleading innocence to the crime and was prosecuted for the same at 19 years of age.

Regardless of the cover going live, the incoming album’s delay and uncertainty have come with much sorrow to fans who even long for ‘Vultures 3’ to drop on its announced date of April 5, 2024. However, amid all of this, the collaborative duo’s ‘Carnival’ from the last release has managed to hold its ground on music charts.
