Kanye West Gives His Fans an Experience of a Lifetime as He Does the Unexpected in Phoenix
The rapper duo of Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign held good on their promise at least on the listening party side as things entered movement in Phoenix, Arizona. At a time when fans hold their breath on news regarding their scheduled album ‘Vultures 2 ‘ running late by more than two days, a few got to experience first-hand notes, beats, and samples from that very same album as a sell-out crowd stood in attendance.
In an unexpected turn, however, the 46-year-old rapper pulled off a segment that, in social media reactions, had fans everywhere else vying for the same.

On March 10, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign descended at Footprint Center in Phoenix and previewed not only songs from ‘Vultures 1’ but also many unreleased ones from the second volume. However, a major highlight came when during the playback of ‘Carnival’, Ye went to the middle of a crowded gallery, sat among, and sang along while being surrounded by hundreds of his fans in what many have hailed as an experience of a lifetime.
The unexpected move happened long after the last listening party in Italy in February had the duo address their fans from a distance with giant screens beaming their personas. Regardless, with this latest move, West’s status as a fan-first musician has received a significant uptick. Furthermore, on February 12, he will again take to the stage at Chase Center for the San Francisco listening party, ticket prices and availability of which have zoomed up long before.
In a quest to maintain his repute as one who listens to his fandom, Ye recently poked around an incoming outright unconventional move.

Kanye West opened up another side of himself as he interacted with Yefanatics, an X (formerly Twitter) fan page, and discussed an alternative route for ‘Vultures 2’. The rapper laid bare the possibility of him avoiding the likes of Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal, instead asking fans to buy his albums from his Yeezy website. Additionally, he also clarified that by pulling off such a move “we won’t have the streaming companies in control of the artist anymore”.
In his interaction, West asked if they or the fandom could “get a million people to buy the album,” hinting at the probability that discussions centered around these alternatives may be the reason behind the prolonged delay of the scheduled album. While the viability of such a measure remains uncertain, he as well as his collaborators continue their musical sojourn and listening parties unabated.
