Of late, Ye has been leaning heavily toward keeping his music and fashion in a linear tandem. His love for designer masks is no stranger in the world of fashion as from bejeweled visage coverage to Balenciaga ones, he has done it all. Hence, now, keeping his vulture-like gaze upon the ultimate collaboration, Ye’s revelation of a beak-like structured ‘Vultures’ mask came in from a clip by GoodAssSub on X (formerly Twitter). In the clip, West removes the upper layer of that mask to unveil two others.

It is, of course, not news that West’s obsession with masks is back and in the most unreal forms. Exhibiting his presence at different venues in Jason masks to the Alexander McQueen Dante mask, Ye has already set the trend for facial shields. Now, jetting from one listening party to another, a new and different range of masks has been on the leash, with the most recent one being the closest to the theme of his album drop.

Like his musical comeback, it took only minutes for fans across the world to join in on the amplification of the unveiling while lauding the rapper for his creative genius.

The world of fashion is West’s very own land of experimentation. Be it his rather scientific Yeezy drop or brand collaborations like Mowalola, West has always had his eyes for the big and grand. Hence, to suit the ‘Vultures’ theme, this beak-like mask’s unmasking was just enough to send fans on a thrilling rollercoaster ride. 

Many fans were almost in a daze with the number of masks Ye actually had on while some others showered in concern. The rest only had one aim-to make the amplification twice as much.

Not only did fans succeed in making it one of the most viral threads online, but even pulled fellow fans from around the world to engage in the same. Given the stunningly complementing drops that Ye has been revealing, the probability is that the uproar of the record industry will soon touchdown to fashion. And when it does, queued-up lines mobbing stores upfront for a ‘Vultures’ mask do not seem like a far-off day.
