Kanye West Fans Unite as Charlamagne Tha God Draws Bizarre Comparisons with Drake
Kanye West is one of the most controversial rappers in the world. But that has not stopped his fans from worshipping the rapper. From his tendentious opinions to his beef with other artists, Ye is constantly in the spotlight. However, this time he has been dragged into a conversation that had nothing to do with him. While most fans are used to seeing West at the helm of his latest controversies, a bizarre comparison by Charlamagne Tha God between Drake and the iconic rapper left fans banding together to prove the comment wrong.
After the airing of an episode of the Brilliant Idiots podcast, Kanye West fans were left shocked at the comparison between the two superstars. The radio host claimed that the 24-time Grammy winner did not have “a devoted fanbase” unlike the ‘Hotline Bling’ singer. While that did not sit right with the ‘Donda’ artist’s fans, they decided to state just how wrong the host was. They did it by taking to social media and explaining just how important the Yeezy creator really was.

Once the comparison spread, social media users came together to give The Breakfast Club host the facts. While fans agreed with some of what was said on the podcast, many claimed that the Kanye West bashing seemed “unnecessary.” Notably, during the interaction, Charlamagne Tha God and Schulz also discussed Ye producing an album by Drake.
Just like every Kanye West update ever, this update was also met with mixed reactions from various social media users. But there was one common consensus. It was the fact that the ‘Famous’ rapper definitely had a way bigger and more devoted fanbase than Drake.
Kanye West fans prove their devotion to the rapper
Shortly after Kanye West canceled his Italy concert, a fan page on X (formerly Twitter) reshared a post about Charlamagne Tha God and Schulz’s recent podcast. The post featured a clip in which the 45-year-old host had claimed that the ‘Hold On, We’re Going Home’ singer had a “devoted fanbase for his music,” but Ye did not. He also went on to say that he would love to see a Drake album that was produced by the ‘Heartless’ rapper. Although fans agreed with the producing part, they immediately took to social media to voice their displeasure at the assumption.
Some users were a little hurt that their devotion to the star was being put under a microscope. However, they made valid points for the rapper too.
Some users even went so far as to say that Kanye West was so loved that his fanbase was basically almost a “cult.”
