The moment everyone has been waiting for months has finally arrived. After multiple delays and teasers, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign finally dropped the first volume of their joint album, ‘Vultures’, sometime in the wee hours of Saturday morning. After the album failed to hit the airwaves on the 9th of February, many thought that Ye must be planning more shows before releasing it. It turns out, Ye was, indeed, planning another show, come what may with the album’s release.

Recently, a report surfaced, suggesting that the string of listening parties will keep going for a bit longer, following the Chicago concert.

The page, GoodAssSub on X, formerly Twitter, recently dropped an update, confirming that an upcoming listening party for ‘Vultures’ is in the pipeline. This party will be held in Los Angeles, reportedly on 11th February. Last week, Kanye West performed at his one-hour-long Chicago listening party, which saw artists like North West, YG, Bump J, and others sharing the same stage. However, the next event turned out to be a dud for several reasons. Reportedly, Kanye West’s listening event at the the UBS Arena, New York, on the 9th of February remained half-empty.

This was mainly because of unfavorable weather conditions, as per Mirror. While the lower section of the stadium still had the audience, the upper one was almost empty. Additionally, there was a two-hour-long delay that dampened the excitement among the crowd. Because of the bad weather and smog, the visibility inside the stadium became very low as well, making the show quite disappointing. However, one thing that has definitely not let people down is the album and how it marked the era of a new iconic musical partnership.

Fans knew that something big was about to come after a video of Kanye West with Ty Dolla $ign, vibing, and rapping, got leaked on the web. The unmatched creative synergy between the two has always been very evident. And their chemistry shined through in the first volume of ‘Vultures’ as well. Although the album has received mixed reviews, its production remained top-notch.

Kanye West’s verses in the song did not feel unfinished at all and $ign perfectly complemented the ‘Donda’ rapper, despite occasional incoherent and juvenile bars. Many fans eagerly anticipate $ign’s presence on West’s tracks, although some argue that his allure fades on solo projects. This is a clear example of why this musical duo meshes so well and should collaborate more often.
