Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s ‘Carnival’ Becomes Their Highest-Charting Single of the Decade
Last year, Kanye West promised his fans some brand-new tunes and even a collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign. While he kept teasing fans with its release, the album and the songs were delayed more than 3 times. Thankfully, earlier this month, ‘Vultures 1’ was dropped on Apple Music, Spotify and more. However, that did not stop it from running into some complicated yet unforeseen problems.
Now, amidst rumors that Ye’s album would be taken down from streaming platforms, it looks like one track, ‘Carnival’, from the rapper’s album has become his and Ty’s highest-charting single of the decade.

Just 10 days after Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign had released their album, one song ended up taking the rappers to a whole new level of happiness. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), it was revealed that their song, ‘Carnival’, debuted at #3 on Billboard’s Hot 100. The revelation came as no surprise to their fans as the track had been hailed as a banger since ‘Vultures 1’ has dropped.
It might not have been Ye or Ty Dolla $ign’s first time having a song in the top 10, but there is no doubt that it was a huge moment for them. After all, with all the delays their album ran into, fans ended up losing some interest in ‘Vultures 1’. However, once it dropped, all of that seemed to change; especially when fans noticed that the 46-year-old seemed to be taking shots at Taylor Swift via his track once again.
While it may have been years since the beef between West and Swift began, it looks like the rapper is not ready to let things go yet.
Kanye West named Taylor Swift in Carnival
After mentioning Taylor Swift in his song, ‘Famous’, oh so many years ago, Kanye West chose to reignite that feud with his song, ‘Carnival‘. While fans had initially loved the song and its rather catchy chant, they ended up being caught off guard when the rapper dragged in the pop sensation once again. He rapped, “She gon’ take it up the a**, like a ventriloquist / I mean since Taylor Swift, since I had the Rollie on the wrist.”

While that enraged the Swifties, the singer has not acknowledged the lyrics yet. However, she was not the only one that Ye took shots at. The father of four also mentioned controversial figures such as R. Kelly and Bill Cosby and even Puff Daddy in the same song.
