Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s divorce came to a settlement after two years of a mysterious ride in November last year. Their divorce was a head-scratcher for all the fans. Kardashian first filed her divorce in the year 2021 owing to West’s string of erratic behavior, including his Twitter rants. Ye’s outrageous comments on social media caused a lot of friction in their marriage. The fashion mogul was tired of cleaning up for Ye’s outbursts on social media and decided to part ways with him. 

Their divorce proceeding, however, lasted for less than two years and was a rollercoaster ride for both the ex-couple and their fans. It would be interesting to see who gets the bigger pie in the $2.7 billion divorce.

Steering clear of ugly custody battles and alimony feuds, Ye and Kardashian agreed on the terms of their divorce. As per Forbes, the pair will have joint custody of their children, and the ‘Donda’ rapper will have to pay $200,000 a month for child support. Both Ye and Kardashian agreed to split the educational and security expenses of their kids. However, the status of how the couple will share their properties, including several homes, artwork, vehicles, and jewelry, is uncertain. 

Though the ideal seems fair so far, given the celebrities’ change in financial situation, the divorce could favor one more than the other. Kardashian, who had a lesser net worth than Ye before the divorce, earned a lot from her business ventures and TV show. The Keeping Up With The Kardashian star now shines with a net worth of $1.7 billion, which is more than twice Ye’s current worth. The decline in the ‘Yeezus’ artist’s fortune puts him in an unfavorable spot in the billion-dollar divorce. 

While Ye could be losing financially in the divorce, Kardashian ended up losing her fashion influencer.

Ye is popular for influencing the style of the women he dates. He was the inspiration behind Kardashian’s fashion-forward figure. Ever since the couple started dating, the ‘Graduation’ rapper started infusing his own style into his wife’s wardrobe. During an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, the SKIMS owner revealed how Ye taught her so much about fashion and that she was “grateful to him.” However, now that she is on her own, the 42-year-old finds it “fun and empowering.”

Given West’s new wife Bianca Censori’s eccentric fashion, Kardashian feels rather concerned about Ye’s influence on her. Censori has been the subject of trolls for months now, owing to her sartorial choices. As per the billionaire, Ye “feels it’s OK to treat people like this,” and she was embarrassed by everything that has been going on with the newlyweds.
