Kanye West and John Legend’s Latest Production, Heaven To Me In Collaboration With Tyler, The Creator Is a Hit Already!
Kanye West explores the success story of the American rapper and songwriter, Tyler, The Creator in his latest music video, ‘Heaven To Me.’ Ye may perhaps have pleached himself with a plethora of controversies, making remarks on Jewish beliefs, while dismissing the responsibilities that come with the freedom of speech. However, that does not necessarily take away his innate artistic qualities and the music he has brooded himself into.
And well, this one comes in collaboration with one of the earliest artists he had brought into fame, John Legend, who once signed with West despite warnings from his team. Tyler, the creator, made a tantalizing comeback after a cold 2022. The best that came from his side that year was perhaps ‘Cash In Cash Out’. But this year, he is taking a leap. While he surprised us with ‘Dogtooth’ last month, March 31st marked the debut of the much-awaited deluxe edition of his 2020 track, ‘Call Me If You Get Lost.’

Notably, along with the existing songs, the updated list will have eight new songs which perhaps feel like a lake house afterparty, and ‘Heaven To Me,’ which premiered April 3, is the fourth track. “I like sugar, I like sweets…/ The heaven part for me is- Knowing I can wake up when I’m finished with my sleep…”
The 32-year-old Californian opens the song on Ye’s beats. Upon the release of its music video, the jazz rapper notably took to Twitter to share his gratitude– “John Legend’s ‘Once Again’ album is special to me. This Kanye beat still leaves me speechless.”

The sun-soaked visuals witness the ‘Goblin’ hitmaker wandering around his property with a printed dad sweater on and spitting bars over John Legend’s 2006 song, ‘Heaven.’ He then capped off the look with a green and yellow cap, glasses, and suave brown dress shoes. The 3-minute 56 seconds video song has unsurprisingly got 2.9 Million views and 161K likes since it first debuted and the numbers are only increasing.
The song certainly is a celebration of life as the American rapper surpassed all the struggles and now sings the joys of his life. Furthermore, one must also note that this is not the only collaboration between Kanye West and Tyler, The Creator. The two stars have collaborated for over 13 songs in the past, with West featuring on Tyler’s tracks such as ‘Puppet’ and ‘Smuckers’.
