“Kanye is washed”- ‘Vultures 2’ Leaks Draws Scathing Reactions From Fans Amidst Ye’s Retirement Announcement
Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, has for the longest time been hyping up the 'Vultures 2' album. The Grammy-winning rapper since the beginning of this year has been trying to revitalize his career and induce the same impact that his music had earlier. However, this journey has been quite a task for the rapper, with legal battles and album delays at every stop. One might speculate that an album leak could alleviate some of these hurdles, but in typical Ye fashion, his situation defies conventional expectations.
Not long after his supposed retirement announcement, the 'MELROSE' leak was posted by yeunrlsd on X, featuring added vocals by Playboi Carti, Ye, and Ty Dolla $ign. The rapper's album leaking before release is nothing new, however, the reactions that have surfaced are unlike anything Ye's music has accumulated before. Perhaps it was the way Ye kept delaying the release of 'Vultures 2', his sudden retirement announcement, or the just the music not appeasing fans, but they were all up in arms.

Earlier this year, even when Ye announced 'Vultures 1' curtsy of fans begging him to make a musical comeback, given the number of rappers he had been meeting up with and his collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign, expectations were through the roof. However, despite 'Carnival' becoming the most streamed rap song on Spotify this year, the album did not have as much of an impact and it seems like its successor is similar to it in that regard.
Without getting a taste of the entire album, fans have made their feelings about Ye's new music very clear, and it is truly unexpected.
'Vultures 2' leak makes fan draw back their unwavering support for Ye
Keeping in mind the sheer number of controversies that Ye has been involved in recent years, his fandom has garnered respect from the rest of the industry for their unwavering support. Even when the chaos surrounding the rapper reached an all-time high, his fans struck back by sighting the supremacy of his musical talent. However, 'Vultures 2' took that and much more away from fans of Ye, as it has become clear by their reaction on X.
Some fans tried their best to offer constructive criticism, however, they could only be so nice, as they wrote, "Nice beat awful vocals, Kanye is washed."
Taking note of the fact that this was a leak, some fans believed that there was still hope for Ye as they requested to keep the track "unreleased."

Given the fairly bad reviews of the track, Ye will have to go through another reworking session in order to release the 'Vultures 2' album, leaving him with another conundrum.
