The boyband era pretty much lasted from 1997 to 2002. While Backstreet Boys held sway at the start, NSYNC took over from 2000 to 2002. And it was not just a couple of hits; ‘Bye Bye Bye’ was the anthem of 2000 and ‘No Strings Attached’ dominated as the best-selling album of 2000. NSYNC capped off the era with a bang with ‘Girlfriend’ in 2002. However, NSYNC hit the pause button in 2002 after three successful albums, and Justin Timberlake, the face of NSYNC, decided to go solo and focus on his career.

After a lengthy hiatus of twenty years, the band is finally back together in full form, which is just what any millennial is raving about these days.
