Jokes Fly Left, Right and Centre as Ye Continues His Love Affair With Fast Food Chain on His Japan Chronicles
In many ways, Ye, aka Kanye West, is just like the rest of us. Whether he is waiting for an Uber, posting random late-night thoughts, or indulging in his well-known love for McDonald’s- the rapper is not always the high-profile, Tesla-driving millionaire fans might expect. Recently, Ye flew to his favorite getaway, Tokyo, with Bianca Censori, and once again reminded fans of his loyalty to the Golden Arches.
Ye was spotted having the time of his life in Tokyo, where he and Bianca Censori hit up McDonald’s for a casual date night bite. A fan posted a photo on X, capturing the two eyeing the menu at a self-service kiosk. The fan who shared the moment online wrote, "My friend just had a little chat with Kanye West at a McDonalds in Tokyo". While Ye clearly loves McDonald's, it is not the only food joint he is a fan of.

Back in 2016, Ye once randomly tweeted, "McDonald's is my favorite restaurant," and he was not kidding. He even wrote a poem called The McDonald's Man for a magazine that accompanied Frank Ocean's album, 'Blonde'. Not to mention, the rapper has been spotted enjoying McDonald's meals on numerous occasions, including pulling up to the drive-thru in his Lamborghini. Now, fans have taken to X to playfully tease him about his McDonald's obsession, finding it downright adorable.

He teamed up with Muji industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa to give McDonald's packaging a makeover, appeared in a Super Bowl commercial, and also featured his song in ads alongside his 'Yeezus' album cover art. At this point, it is clear that this partnership was less about business and more about Ye’s genuine love for the burger joint.
