Jennie recently made headlines with a starry collaboration, ‘Handlebars,’ featuring Dua Lipa for her new debut studio album, ‘Ruby.’ Shortly after, the artist took the New York City on that symphonic ride at The Ruby Experience. The song is written by Lipa, Delacey, Amy Allen, James Alan Ghaleb and Rob Bisel. This is not the duo’s first time working together since BLACKPINK collaborated on Lipa’s ‘Kiss and Make Up’ track in 2017. 

Jennie announced The Ruby Experience tour to her fans in January and since then, fans have been on their toes to watch her spread her magic live. Although the Dua Lipa collaboration is a novel development, with the music video dropped only a day ago, its iteration during the concert had fans dreaming they could teleport. While Lipa did not make an appearance, Jennie herself stole the show as social media erupted into a frenzy.

Jennie previously created massive anticipation with the collaboration announcements for ‘Ruby,’ but her on-stage ignition at the big apple has fans convinced this era is hers alone.

After Jennie and Dua Lipa dropped the trippy video for ‘Handlebars’ with a dreamy visual directed by BRTHR on March 10, it took just minutes for fans to give it a staple place on their playlist. However, as she took center stage for The Ruby Experience in the New York City, looking fire in a red crop top, paired with shorts and a fur jacket, dancing to the beats and casting that symphonic spell for the audience, the sparks flew everywhere from the offline arena to the online threads. 

The Ruby Experience was already a highlight for her fans, but the ‘Handlebars’ performance has taken the fanaticism to a whole new level.

Especially knowing that this is just the beginning of fan-centric symphonic experiences as a solo artist, fans cannot wait for more of these orchestral escapades. Convinced that it is only going to get bigger and better from here onwards, fans have been polishing the crown for Jennie because she has already made her solo debut to their hearts and straight etched her name on the brightest constellation of stars.
