Jay-Z Surprises Fans After Being Spotted Wearing Yeezy-Looking Shoes During His Latest Outing
Kanye West Yeezys has witnessed a greater downfall than the rapper himself. West and Adidas collaboration was arguably the most successful deal for the brand and the rapper. However, after the rapper’s antiemetic comments, the brand called it quits as they parted ways with Ye. Adidas hit an all-time low after terminating their deal with the rapper as they recorded severe financial losses and huge unsold inventory.
While Yeezys might have lost their charm, Jay-Z recently raised many eyebrows as he rocked a similar-looking shoe during his latest outing.

Jay-Z is arguably the most fashionable rapper of his time. The ‘APESHIT’ singer always amazes the fans with his simple yet classy choice of fits. His recent appearance was no surprise as the rapper rocked an incredible ensemble of clothes. Jay-Z’s latest all-black stealthy look involved a black Louis Vuitton beanie matching his black shirt. He paired them with black trousers. However, it was the rapper’s choice of footwear that left everyone in awe. The 53-year-old topped his all-black outfit with White Yeezy 500 sneakers.
Jay-Z’s shoes looked the same as the “Bone” colorway edition of Yeezy. They also featured the YEEZY 500’s distinct chunky look down to the bulbous base. Meanwhile, the overall designs and stitchings were also very similar to the Yeezy shoes. Interestingly, it was rather surprising to see the rapper wear Adidas shoes, let alone the ones his friend Ye designed. Since 2018, the rapper has become Puma’s director and has actively been promoting, wearing, and even designing shoes in the basketball division.
The Adidas CEO, meanwhile, recently shed some light on Kanye West months after their fallout with the rapper.

Things surely took a turn for the worse for Adidas after they parted ways with rapper Kanye West. The German sportswear brand recorded one of its biggest losses of nearly $600 million since then. Seven months after the parties went their own ways, Adidas CEO shed some light on the rapper’s antisemitic comments that led to the split.
It seems like Adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden is still restless due to all the losses incurred. During one of his recent interviews, Gulden seemed to defend the rapper as he spoke, “I don’t think he’s a bad person, it just came across that way.” Meanwhile, he also called Ye one of the most creative individuals in the field of design and fashion.
