Jadakiss and Jae’Won Aren’t Sold on Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s Rap Beef Being the 'GOAT'
Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s beef became a cultural battle earlier this year. The two rappers did not just trade insults in their diss-filled tracks; they also built up their legacies in the hip-hop world with that one big clash. However, while many consider the feud as one of the biggest rap beefs of all time, some see it as quite lame and superficial. Recently, popular YouTubers Jadakiss and Jae’Won weighed in on this notion with their indifference to the 2024 beef.
The father-son duo certainly does not think Kendrick Lamar and Drake are the biggest feuders in rap and instead pointed to other popular beefs as more deserving of that title.

Jadakiss and Jae’Won recently debated the best and worst things ever in their latest episode of GOAT Talk. However, one question where they fully saw eye to eye was that Kendrick Lamar and Drake’s beef was not the “GOAT Rap Beef.” While Jae’Won chose the N.W.A and Ice Cube beef as the best, Jadakiss shared another pick. Although he acknowledged his son’s choice as “legendary,” he went with the beef between Tupac Shakur and the Notorious B.I.G.
Even though there are polarizing opinions on how iconic the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef was, people are still talking about it months after the white flag was raised in the lyrical battle. Whether it is industry insiders still picking sides or the rappers themselves taking subtle jabs at each other, the aftereffects of this diss war can still be felt in the hip-hop world. Recently, Kendrick Lamar, who has been continuously throwing cryptic shade at Drake even after the showdown, opened up about one of the most successful diss tracks in the beef.
Lamar shared what the so-called hater’s anthem, ‘Not Like Us,’ represents and stands for, and why it holds a special place in his heart.

'Not Like Us' was controversial, to say the least. Not only did it leave a dent in Drake’s reputation, but it also sent the ‘God’s Plan’ rapper’s streaming records crashing down. In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Lamar chatted about 'Not Like Us' with SZA. During their conversation, the Pulitzer winner said, “‘Not Like Us’ is the energy of who I am”.
Lamar added, “This man has morals, he has values, he believes in something, he stands on something”. However, the 37-year-old was careful not to mention Drake’s name throughout the interview. With discussions about the 2024 rap feud still making rounds, Jadakiss and Jae’Won really stepped outside the box by giving the cold shoulder to both Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
