All over X (previously Twitter), users are reporting some notifications received on their phones about a new Swift album called ‘First Blood’. While many want this to be true, there has been no official statement confirming this update. Some believe that the entire thing is a glitch on Google since the search page lauding it as a real track only showcases a link to the 12-time Grammy winner’s ‘1989’ track ‘Bad Blood’.

One thing that could have caused this glitch is a relatively unknown rap artist named Swifty releasing a song by the same name today. Another possibility is that the notifications and Google search results are pranks orchestrated by miscreants. In the absence of any clarification by Google or Swift’s team, one has to assume that ‘First Blood’ is not yet declared to be a new album by Swift.

As of now, the pop sensation has only hinted at the arrival of another re-recorded version of an old album to drop this year.

Throughout the second half of 2023, Swifties were convinced that Taylor Swift would announce her next album to be ‘Reputation (Taylor’s Version)’ on the last day of her 2023 leg of The Eras Tour. Many believed she would drop it on her birthday, December 13, which did not happen. However, throughout her iconic tour last year, the 34-year-old had easter eggs hidden in her performances that alluded to this.

Before Swift dropped ‘1989 (Taylor’s version)’, she paved the way by belting out every single track from it during The Eras Tour, except for one. Then, she pulled a déjà vu move with her ‘Reputation’ tunes during The Eras Tour, playing them in the same format. All this points in the direction of a ‘Reputation (Taylor’s version)’ launch next!
