Even though West has been toeing the line between controversy and conspiracies, his fans have still stuck by the artist’s side. From his music, creativity, and lyrical genius, the artist has managed to etch his name in the history of music. But following his last album back in 2022, there seems to be silence on the artist’s musical front, or so fans thought.

Kanye West may be dropping a new album

After over a year of waiting, fans of the artist might soon be getting what they have been hoping for. According to NBC, it was recently revealed that West, who recently came back to Twitter, plans to drop a new album. The revelation came not from one, but from two sources who are close to the rapper. One of the sources mentioned that “new music is imminent.”

They also went on to claim that one of them had been in the studio with West, who helped Tyler The Creator grow, and his wife, Bianca Censori. The sources also got the chance to listen to the music that the artist was working on in the summer. While they were unable to confirm when or where the new music would be released, they did give fans a little glimmer of hope with the revelation.

Following the rather difficult past few years for the artist, the best news fans have gotten so far is this. But considering the ‘Donda 2’ fiasco, hopefully, fans will not be forced back to Kanye West’s Stem Player like last time.

Fans hope Kanye West’s new album is not a repeat of ‘Donda 2’

Following the success of ‘Donda’, Kanye West decided that his fans needed a part 2. While most fans were extremely excited about the venture, there were some who had their doubts. In February 2022, West dropped his newest album exclusively on his streaming device, Stem Player, which cost his fans $200 per subscription.

While it was not the first time that the artist was doing this, fans were not pleased. But the actor did give his fans the ‘Donda 2’ Listening Party, which happened in Miami back in 2022. ‘Donda 2’s’ late release left a sour taste in the mouths of fans, with a lot of them taking to Twitter to share their disappointment.

Some fans are just tired of the rumors that the artist is going to drop new music, which has been going around since ‘Donda 2’.

From what we have heard so far from the sources, hopefully, it will live up to West’s previous albums like ‘Life of Pablo’, ‘Graduation’ and ‘The College Dropout’.
