For months now, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have tantalized their fans with whispers of an upcoming album. Since whipping up a whirlwind of excitement on the internet, they were edging towards the release of their collaborative album and everybody was over the moon. When the official confirmation finally dropped in the guise of social media posts, it was like a spark igniting a wildfire of enthusiasm among them. Especially Ye’s fans, who had waited for this moment for long.

Today, the two artists had planned to host a multi-stadium listening event for it. It was supposed to feature the sounds from their upcoming album and give audiences a glimpse of what was to come. Well, the post through which Ty Dolla $ign had announced this event has now been deleted. Unfortunately for Ye’s fans, this could mean that not only the event but also the album’s launch may be on the verge of being called off too.

Fans of the ‘Graduation’ rapper cannot seem to catch a break lately. When the rapper’s concert in Italy was met with cancellation, they still had the launch of the album of the album to look forward to. After having suffered so many heartbreaks pertaining to the ‘Donda rapper, everybody is now left wondering why this is happening in the first place. Now, they sit on the edge of their seats in hopes of hearing good news next.

Last month, a worldwide buzz erupted as Rick Ross shared a video online. In it, he was seen reminiscing about the bond he had once shared with Ye. Then, Rick Ross went on to share his aspiration to welcome West into the fold of his Maybach Music Group record label. Ye evidently needs a label for his album as has been reported. So, this enticing proposition to “forge history” together has come at the perfect time.

As West’s album’s heart-breaking updates continue to disappoint fans, even his most loyal fanatics are starting to doubt him. Since the ‘Hustlin’ rapper has expressed his eagerness to sign him, he could be the one to swoop in and break Ye out of the mess his latest album is chalking out to be. If Ross actually manages to sign the rapper and finally launch his album, fans’ long-standing patience could be on the brink of a sweet payoff.
