Kanye West, now known as Ye, the enfant terrible of hip-hop, has managed to cement his reputation as the industry's most polarizing figure. Love him or loathe him, Ye's creative genius cannot be denied, but his propensity for controversy has become a running joke.' Always embroiled in disputes and scandals, the rapper rarely makes headlines for anything remotely positive. However, taking his lead, his devoted fanbase, now multiplied, has adopted his combative stance.

And just when you thought things could not get more interesting, Ye teased 'Bully,' as his latest project, which seems to have gotten into his fans' heads. A TikTok fan community sparked controversy by crowning 'Donda' and 'Vultures' as the rapper's best albums. However, Reddit users vehemently disagreed, arguing that while both albums mark Ye's successful return to the industry, they do not surpass his magnum opuses.

Although the Reddit users clarified, that they hold no disdain for 'Donda' and 'Vultures', they seemingly refused to label them Ye's best. Some acknowledged Donda would have been a top contender in 2021, but at 2024, the landscape has shifted. With new releases and evolving tastes, Reddit commentators argue there are superior options. While there is no doubt none of Ye's albums are worth a disdain, perspective and time have tempered the TikTok assessment, claimed Redditors.

Reddit users blasted the TikTok community's rankings, with one labeling the opinion "preposterous," calling out the "irreparable damage" they have done to the community. Others deemed the assessment “invalid” in 2024's musical landscape. While 'Donda' was overwhelmingly dismissed, 'Vultures' was called "a hot take" but not Album of the Year. Redditors argued it lacks depth to topple Ye's iconic works. Another called out the tiktokers, asking them to "listen to more music" to accurately state Ye's works like a true fan.
