Insider Confirms Long-Running Swifties’ Theory for Taylor Swift Album Releases and ‘Reputation TV'
Ever since Taylor Swift started re-recording her albums, fans have been waiting for the day she will drop ‘Reputation (Taylor’s Version).’ After ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version),’ fans were convinced that the pop mogul had been dropping hints everywhere, whether through her use of emoticons or her fashion choices. But it has been nearly a year since Swift released her last re-recorded album, and there is still no word on when the re-recorded version of the last album she recorded before switching labels will be released.
An insider has finally shed light on the mystery, giving fans a hint of when they might listen to ‘Reputation (Taylor’s Version).’

Taylor Swift’s re-recording marathon is nearing the finish line. And there are mainly two standout albums that fans are expecting the pop star to revive. One is her self-titled debut, and the other is ‘Reputation,’ originally released in 2017. Recently, Nostradamus Insider hinted on X that the final re-recordings of Swift’s albums are now expected in the first or second quarter of 2025, instead of the originally planned December 2024.
This news comes amid the USPTO granting an extension for the trademarks ‘Reputation (Taylor’s Version)’ and ‘Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version),’ extending their use until July 25, 2025. So, it is all but certain that ‘Reputation (Taylor’s Version)’ will drop before July 2025. While the pop star has stayed mum about the exact release date, it is clear that some of the recording work is already in the bag.

Nearly every time Taylor Swift has been spotted publicly since the release of ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’, she has dropped subtle hints about her iconic ‘Reputation’ era. Fans have also cooked up numerous theories, chasing down every breadcrumb leading to the long-awaited release of 'Reputation (Taylor's Version)'. While most of these theories have not led anywhere, it was clear Swift had been working behind the scenes. For example, Prime’s Wilderness featured ‘Look What You Made Me Do (Taylor’s Version)’ in its trailer.
On top of that, The Summer I Turned Pretty teased a taste of ‘Delicate (Taylor’s Version)’ in its second season, along with other tracks from the re-recordings. According to Taylor Swift’s good friend Ed Sheeran, the album was still in the pipeline in August 2023. With a clearer timeframe now in sight, it is safe to say that the ‘Reputation’ era is just around the corner.
