A rule of the music industry often unspoken yet painfully evident in many acceptance speeches is that success belongs as much to the scouter as it does to the artist. While this may have landed in awkward on-stage moments where the ego tussle between the two is clearly visible, in the case of Ye and 070 Shake, it only translates to awe-inducing music.

070 Shake co-signed with Ye back when he was known as Kanye West in 2016, much like Travis Scott and several other artists in the industry keep Ye on a high pedestal. However, it seems it is not just the rapper she holds in high regard but also his impressive flow in 'Mercy' which she impersonated on 'What's Wrong With Me' from the album 'Petrichor'.

The rapper has, in the past, worked with the Atlanta rapper a couple of times, each time delivering a hit to be remembered. While those earlier features on Ye's track might have carried intentions of getting their claim to fame, the 'Mercy' flow impersonation is purely a work of art.

Fans who have crowned Ye as the GOAT and have qualms with anyone alluring that they are even a tad bit close to the rapper's stature, surprisingly turned the tables as they welcomed  070 Shake's talent.

If Hollywood is bricks, then the music industry is bones, and it is especially the case if you are signed with an artist as legendary as Ye, taking the already skyscraper-esque standards even higher. However, through sheer talent 070 Shake has managed to shake it all, and the results could not be merrier as even Ye fans stand impressed with her impersonation of one of his iconic flows.

From how they had "insane reach" to labeling 'Petrichor' as the album of the year, which is a remark not even Ye himself has earned this year, fans did not hold back on the praises.

Despite the abundance of support, there were also those who felt that doing the triplet rap flow was no big achievement. Regardless, it seems that 070 Shake has gained the due support she needed for her album to be a hit.
