Halle Bailey has been pushing back against online critics targeting her child, Halo, who is just nine months old as of September 2024. Since his birth, netizens have flooded social media with comments about her son's appearance. The constant scrutiny prompted Bailey to address the issue directly. However, she was not alone in facing this challenge; her partner, DDG Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr, previously spoke out against harsh comments.

DDG condemned the negativity, linking it to broader issues of racism and hate. "These are the same people who called Rihanna's and Beyoncé's kids ugly," he noted, calling people to put an end to the online hatred and scrutiny of his kid. While fighting online bullying, this couple is not alone. Popular figures like Meghan Markle, whose son Prince Archie was also a subject of controversy, had also spoken firmly against online hatred.
