“I was flirting…”- After a Chart Topping Hit, Miley Cyrus Recalls the 2015 Duet With Ariana Grande
Miley Cyrus may have started off as a Disney kid, but she did not stick to that image for long. Instead, the singer managed to pave her own way in a not-so-forgiving industry and has her name etched into history. The 30-year-old grew up right before people’s eyes and has recently shown her fans a more mature side. In fact, the Hannah Montana star has started letting fans know more about her story and journey with her music and various interviews.
Amidst all the reminiscing that her latest hit, ‘Used To Be Young’, brought, the musician also addressed her wild-child phase. However, the artist ended up going even further by surprising her social media followers with a TikTok video, that made it evident that fans were not the only ones reminiscing.

Miley Cyrus and her failed flirting attempt
Miley Cyrus recently took to her TikTok account to share a clip of a 2015 duet featuring the American singer-songwriter and Ariana Grande. The duo performed ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’ by Crowded House for Cyrus’ YouTube backyard sessions, which helped launch her Happy Hippie Foundation. But the surprising part was the ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer revealing that she had flirted with Grande.
In her TikTok, Miley Cyrus revealed that during the filming of the video, “I was flirting with her, and she was a little scared.” She went on to say that she was asking Grande questions about the onesie that she was wearing. However, the flirting may have distracted the ‘One Last Time’ singer as she ended up missing one of her cues.
While their collaborations have not been surprising, the pop stars also have an amazing friendship that Cyrus opened up about during her little trip down memory lane.
The Disney girls grew up together
During the same TikTok video, Miley Cyrus, who also had an epic VMA showdown, told her fans that “Ariana’s a real friend” and that she always came through for her friends. It came as no surprise since the two go way back; from being Disney stars to pop stars, they have so much in common.
