The five-minute video featured his Sunday Service choir in full resplendence as Ye recounted his “Misactions”. Close on the heels of a lurking divorce from Kim Kardashian, the singer dropped an unexpected line with “I take accountability for my actions.”

The “actions” referred to his then-recent controversial statements, running for an unplanned presidential campaign, and “Self-righteous Christian behavior”. Additionally, the hymn also had him acknowledging his bipolar disorder, alcohol addiction, and uncontrollable anger. In what appeared as his one final pursuance to get Kim Kardashian to stay, the rapper held nothing to himself. The “ super, super, super super super long Thanksgiving Prayer” also had him make a plea to get things right for his family in a remarkable display of self-awareness.

Years down the line, this Thanksgiving also had an emotional Ye. Except that it truly broke him this time around.

Ye breaks down over North West crying for him

The tables turned when, in a shocking revelation, Kim Kardashian shared that her 10-year-old daughter, North West, actually preferred living with her father. The socialite had long harbored a good mom outlook as she stepped out on many occasions, taking her four kids with West to all the places they ever thought of. However, on watching the shocker air on The Kardashians, the ‘Flashing Lights’ singer was moved to tears.

As a repercussion, he took North West along with him to Saudi Arabia. The father-daughter duo enjoyed their time together in the Middle Eastern kingdom, humbling fans with selfies.
