Taylor Swift’s success is the kind of dream every pop star aims for. Her masterminded success story, reign over the Billboard charts, billion-dollar fortune, prestigious awards, and domination of pop culture headlines- Swift’s mogul-like stature in the music world is undeniable. Especially after her Eras Tour, the songstress’s star power has hit new heights. But there were many hurdles that Swift had to overcome as well. There was one challenge that truly tested the pop star- something BLACKPINK's Lisa has recently overcome.

Lisa, who recently seized a huge achievement that Taylor Swift used to dream about, now plans on following in her musical footsteps.

Amid all the victories Taylor Swift has masterminded, one that really mattered was reclaiming her old albums and her ownership rights. By re-recording them, she took back ownership after a long battle with some of the industry’s biggest players. Lisa, who recently secured the rights to her own work, praised the “incredible” Swift in her interview with Elle magazine and hinted that she would not mind doing an Eras-like tour herself. “I maybe could do it with a lot of practice,” the 27-year-old said.

Lisa, who has moved on from YG to shape her solo career, recently took control over her music with Lloud. The South Korean rapper now owns her master recordings, which she believes is not “easy for anyone to be able to get”. After Taylor Swift began re-recording her songs, fans got to relive many of her musical eras. But there is one album, the one after which Swift finally broke free from all label ties, that fans are still eagerly awaiting- 'Reputation (Taylor’s Version)'.

Taylor Swift has two more albums to revive her discography. One is her self-titled debut, and the other is 'Reputation'. Recently, the USPTO extended the trademarks for 'Reputation (Taylor’s Version)' and 'Taylor Swift (Taylor’s Version)' until July 25, 2025. This suggested that Swift would release both albums by July 2025. And then came another update that hinted it might be even sooner.

Nostradamus Insider recently hinted at X that Swift’s final re-recordings might come out in the first or second quarter of 2025, which means by June 2025. So, if these reports are accurate, 'Reputation (Taylor’s Version)' could drop by June 2025. With this, Swift would almost complete her journey to reclaim her major album rights- a path BLACKPINK’s Lisa might also follow in her career.
