Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, and Big Sean have a long and tangled history. What started out as a powerhouse partnership ended up with them as rivals, which left many hip-hop fans heartbroken. Even though their longstanding beef is still a hot topic of debate among their respective fandom, Sean has recently stepped up to clear Ye of any wrongdoing.

Big Sean recently had his latest album leaked by one of Ye’s fans. The fan took offense to a perceived diss by Sean to Ye, which motivated them to make this drastic move. The user, bigseandon811, also claimed that it was in fact Ye who pushed them to leak the album. However, Sean quickly denied all these rumors on an Instagram Live Thursday, stating that he knows it was not done by Ye. Further proclaiming his love for the ‘Graduation’ rapper, Sean said, “I love Ye. Without him, there would be no me.”

It all began with Big Sean’s On The Radar freestyle, where the rapper allegedly dissed his peers, saying, “I got better things to do than find someone to beef with.” What was initially seen as a diss toward Kendrick Lamar was soon interpreted as an attack on his former friend and collaborator Ye. However, that was not all. After the leak, Sean shared quite a few cryptic posts to keep the drama going.

Following the album leak, which reportedly goes by the names 'Feelings & Random Thots' or 'Better Me Than You,' Big Sean reacted to the leak on X. He shared a tweet, joking, “Might as well start dropping before they leak it all.” The 36-year-old also confirmed that he would release BIG SEAN x THE ALCHEMIST "soon." Shortly after, the ‘Detroit’ rapper took to Instagram, dropping another cryptic post.

Sean referenced LeBron James' iconic 'Can't Believe This Is My Life' meme with a caption saying, “Smiling through it all. I can't believe this is my life.” While some fans felt that this was just him joking around, many also felt that the rapper was downplaying the ongoing controversies. Nonetheless, it is clear now that Big Sean has no hard feelings for Ye, nor does he hold him accountable for the leaks.
