Ye, aka Kanye West, is doing everything he can to hype up his daughters. Leveraging his influence and his eldest daughter’s one-of-a-kind personality, the rapper has been nurturing North West’s artistic side for years now. From having her perform at Sunday Service events to finally giving her a feature on his album, 'Vultures', Ye has put the 11-year-old in the kind of spotlight that most up-and-coming artists can only dream of. And now, once again, Ye has dropped another project, this time focusing on his other daughter as well.

Ye has just released a brand-new music video for ‘Bomb,’ featuring his two daughters, North and Chicago West, on YouTube. The track was from Ye and Ty Dolla $ign’s ‘Vultures 2’ album. In the video, the young artists were seen racing futuristic cars in a race through the desert, surrounded by some gremlin-like creatures. North was mostly rapping in Japanese- which is not surprising, considering how much time the Kardashian-West kids spend in the Asian country- and driving through the barren desert landscape, while wearing a furry hoodie.

Meanwhile, Chicago, the newly-launched rapper in the family, popped into the song a few minutes in, mostly freestyling and rapping about having fun and hitting the beach. The two girls wandered around the empty desert with Yuno Miles, who also made an appearance on the track. But while the video had its moments, it did not quite get the same reaction as North’s directorial debut with the ‘Talking’ music video.

From AI accusations to completely mocking the music video, fans had plenty to say and have not held back in criticizing the ‘Bomb’ video. 

Last year, North West was called the 'princess of rap' after she debuted her new song on Ye's 'Vultures' album at his listening party in Miami. Fans quickly started imagining a bright future for the young star, maybe even seeing her as someone who could carry on her father’s legacy, especially after seeing her stage presence and confidence on the mic. But after the ‘Bomb’ video dropped, those same fans are now second-guessing their initial hype. "I lost brain cells," wrote a fan. 

Fans have also criticized the alleged use of AI in Ye’s song, something that has become a recurring topic in every one of his releases.

Many fans, however, have shown love for the video and defended it, believing that, at the end of the day, everyone had fun making it. 

This is not the first time North West has been mocked on social media. In fact, Kim Kardashian and Ye have often been accused of promoting the 11-year-old too much, and that criticism grew even louder after her performance as Simba at the Hollywood Bowl for the 30th-anniversary concert. Now, with the ‘Bomb’ video out, it looks like this conversation is only about to intensify.
