Beyoncé can very well be termed as the queen of untouchable stardom, that paragon of pop perfection whose every note seems gilded in gold. Younger artists, from pop princesses to hip-hop kings, would wax poetic after a brush with her presence. But the higher the pedestal, the more inevitable the sway, and lately, that sway has been felt. Amidst the steep tilt of her crown, GloRilla, one of the strongest contenders of the crown, has come forth with her experience of meeting Beyoncé.

Having cracked the code to bust the music charts, GloRilla has had more than just a few brush ins with Beyoncé. Having been inside her closet, the female rapper is the most equipped to tell the world what skeletons rattle behind the gilded doors, if there are any.

With almost every artist labeling her as the 'Artist of their Life' while she is yet to win the 'Album of the Year' at the Grammys, the fog does fall a bit on Beyoncé, that is not to say that she does not look ethereal surrounded by it. However, audiences wanted a peak into what falls behind the glitzy curtain of music award shows, and GloRilla in her interview with Complex provided just that. The rapper weighed in on Beyoncé's aura and how it was nothing if not kind and warm. "I cry every time," she stated about the impact Beyoncé has despite having met her a couple of times owing to her beautiful "spirit."

The love for Beyoncé was clear in GloRilla's eyes as she revealed how her eyes just tear up despite her trying to play it cool and hold a conversation. And the chokehold that she has not tightened even by a vein after meeting her numerous times, meaning it is unlikely that it ever will. It seems that the rattling in the closet and the fog surrounding Queen Bey might have been VFX's to herald the much discussed 'Act III'.

Beyoncé is not the only artist whose praises are heard all around Tinseltown and neither is she the only female artist who could make her concert look like a celebrity meet up as proven by Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. Often pitted against each other despite no hard evidence of any bad blood between the two, Beyoncé and Taylor Swift are always a hair's length from each other when it comes to achievements. However, Swift recently claimed the crown of being the most awarded VMA artist, a title that Beyoncé had held for the longest time.

Beyoncé's claim to the title also included the time she was in Destiny's Child. However, Swift's title is solely hers as she transcended from genre to genre and ultimately became not only a jack but also a master of all trades. Fortunately, with GloRilla and many other artists keeping her on the highest pedestal, Beyoncé does not have to worry anytime soon.
