In June this year, Cultured interviewed a 25-year-old Yeezy model Sierra Kiss. During the conversation, she was asked about her experience of working with Kanye West and his team. She recalled her meeting with the rapper when she told him how important that job was for her. “You know, maybe at some point, you can come work for us in a more permanent position,” responded the ‘Praise God’ singer.

Though the model only hinted at her conditions, West understood she was struggling to make ends meet. Kiss continued that when the rapper said those words, she was bewildered. But she worked for him despite all the controversies surrounding the music producer. According to her, it was “dangerous” but it also gave her hope that she could have bigger opportunities in the future. 

Speaking of Yeezy, the rapper’s efforts to build it back from scratch might allow Kiss to work with him yet again as he seems more than ready to make a comeback!

About some weeks back, pictures of YZY Sock Shoe PODS surfaced on social media. It showed foldable shoes in black color, which serve as an alternative to regular footwear. Kanye West has been putting the no-shoe show on display for months and then he brought this masterpiece, which might change the game in the footwear industry in the coming years.

Not just that, he announced Gosha Rubchinskiy, a key player in transforming Russian fashion as the head of the Yeezy design department. With all these major changes in the brand, one can imagine where the rapper might be taking his brand. Not to forget his meeting in Saudi to lay a roadmap for his brand. With everything coming together, it seems that 2024 will be both a musical and fashion comeback for the ‘Famous’ rapper.
