The ‘Vultures 1’ rollout event remained marred by chaos. After an initial delay of more than 12 hours, the album debuted on Apple Music only to be pulled back a few hours later. While it received a quick reinstation with an added song, its availability on Spotify stood non-existent. However, just before the Super Bowl kick-off, everything fell back in place as the album began raking up streaming numbers.
Despite a delay, Spotify brought in over 55.6 million streams for ‘Vultures 1’. While in combination with Apple Music, the number could spike further, the Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign collaboration already sealed itself the top spot in almost all major streaming platforms. The remarkable rise now only looks ahead to serve a strong comeback for Ye in 2024.
