The music industry has been more of a rat race than ever this year as artists new and old stepped down to deliver their masterpieces. From prominent artists dropping surprise new albums instead of expected re-releases to other artists finally finding the right mic after years in the shadow, it all happened in the women's arena. Given all that it has been witness to, it did not come as a surprise that the Album of the Year was dominated by female artists. However, the stats just provided a real picture of just what is up against who.

While everyone is yet to drop their Spotify wrapped and pen down an emotional note for their most streamed artist, a user turned the tables abruptly into a fandom fight as they put side to side the most streamed albums of the Album of the Year nominees with the total number of streams. Although female-dominated, fans could not help but gasp at the large gap between the number of streams accumulated by the nominated artists.
