Courting controversy and then trying to repair it only to etch a new one all over again has been Ye’s way now. Now, as reported by Daily Mail, Venetian boat company Venezia Turismo Motoscafi, who rented the boat to the couple has “banned them for life.” The reason behind it was the couple’s indecent exposure and public display of love. A few days earlier, on a Venice boat ride, West exposed his bare buttocks to passing touring boats. Soon followed by sightings of an indecent public display of love in full view of tourists. All of this led to a furious online uproar and the subsequent ban.
Kanye West’s tryst with bans began in 2009 at the MTV Video Music Awards. West snatched the mic out of award-winner, Taylor Swift’s hands only to announce that Beyonce had a better music video. It led him to be cast out for the rest of the awards ceremony. The rapper has also been banned multiple times by Twitter and now X for spreading discord. Incidentally, West was also banned from Instagram, for anti-Semitic comments in 2022. The same comments also led to bans from the 2022 Grammy Awards and again on X.
Now, the ban has left a question mark on whether West is to leave Italy anytime soon. The rapper was supposedly working on his next album while nestled in the country.
Will Kanye West leave Italy now with a near-finished album?
The infamous ban on Kanye West has now cast a shadow on fans’ hopes for a new album. The rapper’s last release was with 2022’s ‘Donda 2’. Following it, the rapper was nearly confirmed to have been secretly working on his new album in an Italy hotel. The news was laid credence by the presence and spotting of several of West’s frequent collaborators in Italy.

Additionally, Kanye West may have to expedite his album launch, as there are threats to his musical dominance. Shaking up the world of hip-hop are West’s own apprentice, Travis Scott, and his long-time rival, Drake among others. While Scott has already released his album, ‘Utopia’, Drake is about to announce a launch date for his ‘For All The Dogs’. ‘Utopia’ is on a march to dethrone Kanye West’s ‘Donda’ record. Only time will tell if Kanye West delivers his album on time, now that the ban is in full force and Italy is furious.
