When it comes to food, Ye is assuringly picky. But this trait only calls for the best of the best and hence, apart from McDonald’s, one of the first eateries to take the top spot is Waffle House in Arizona. After this notable Phoenix establishment comes Nobu, renowned for its culinary excellence. Not only did its perfection in cuisine secure a place in the rapper's favor, but it also prompted Ye to present the owner with his own Yeezy sneaker socks, leaving him without shoes.
Ye’s preference further lies in tandem with one of America’s favorite food spots, Pasquale Jones, while Ferdi, Hakkasan, and Nandos have also emerged as a few of his treasured hotspots. Similarly, other restaurants that have Ye’s heart are Negril Village, Spice Market, The Spotted Pig, Sushi Mikasa, Zuma, Chalk Point Kitchen, Cecconi’s, and Lure Fishbar. Foodies should also not miss out on Lary’s Prime Rib, Phillipe, British Raj, Shibuya Sushi, Valentino Chateau, Wendy’s, Komodo, ABC Kitchen, and Serendipity.
As Ye frequently embarks on global culinary adventures, at least his love for McDonald’s makes it easy for fans from around the world to experience his preferences without boarding a flight. Especially since his love for the fast-food chain extends beyond mere mentions.

Ye is an open book when it comes to confessing his love, whether it is for his art, woman, or food. Hence, back in 2016, the rapper made a tweet that made him more of a people person who confessed his love for the renowned fast-food chain McDonald’s. Following the tweet, West also penned a poem called The McDonald’s Man in a magazine written to accompany Frank Ocean’s ‘Blonde’ album.
Ye’s love for McDonalds, however, did not end there. In 2021, the rapper clarified in a press release that he teamed up with Muji industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa to “reimagine McDonald’s packaging”. Later he even appeared in a Super Bowl ad for the fast-food giant in a 30-second promo. Therefore, for fans unable to visit the aforementioned food destinations, Ye's affection for McDonald's might just have them "lovin' it".
