On Tuesday, Kanye West issued a heartfelt apology in Hebrew to the Jewish community, expressing remorse for his past antisemitic remarks. Seeking forgiveness, he acknowledged the potential pain caused by his words and pledged to learn and grow in sensitivity and understanding. Hours after the post surfaced, Ty Dolla $ign got on board, slapping that post from Ye’s handle onto his own story, signaling strong support for his friend’s sincere apology.
This apology came hot on the heels of news that his highly anticipated album, ‘Vultures’, got its release date pushed back once again. The album, originally set for October, has seen a couple of delays. And now it is scheduled to hit the shelves on January 12, 2024. However, Kanye West will not be the only rapper to drop a smashing hit album on the 12th of January. There is another rapper who will be releasing an album on the same date.
Kanye West and Kid Cudi, who have collaborated on various songs in the past, will be clashing with each other on the 12th of January.
Kid Cudi reunited with Kanye West ahead of their album’s release
Kanye West and Kid Cudi had a fallout over Kim Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson. Things took a turn for the worse in August 2022 when Cudi openly discussed Ye’s split from Kardashian. This led to a year-long feud between the two and it was not resolved until the ‘Vultures’ rave party where both were seen hugging their differences out. This also led to some speculations regarding Cudi’s involvement in the upcoming joint album of Ye.

While there is no such confirmation about the collaboration, Cudi is definitely up for some clash owing to the release dates with Kanye West. Kid Cudi is dropping his latest hit ‘Insano’ on January 12. This will be the ninth studio album by the American rapper. Whether this clash of album releases would impact the reception of ‘Vultures’ or not is still uncertain. However, West has definitely mended some fences with his apology to the Jewish community.
