Kanye West has been under scrutiny for a long time due to his contentious stance against the Jewish community. His antisemitic remarks not only offended many globally, but also took a toll on his once-thriving career. Despite a brief hiatus from public attention, Kanye resurfaced a year later with yet another controversial episode. His antisemitic rants at the ‘Vultures’ rave party triggered another round of criticism. However, it now seems the rapper is finally opting to step back and offer an apology.

Kanye West recently shared a note of apology to the Jewish community on his Instagram handle, ahead of the release of his first album since his hiatus break. Shortly after, Ty Dolla $ign, the collaborator and friend of the ‘Donda’ rapper, extended his open support to Ye’s apology.

On Tuesday, Kanye West issued a heartfelt apology in Hebrew to the Jewish community, expressing remorse for his past antisemitic remarks. Seeking forgiveness, he acknowledged the potential pain caused by his words and pledged to learn and grow in sensitivity and understanding. Hours after the post surfaced, Ty Dolla $ign got on board, slapping that post from Ye’s handle onto his own story, signaling strong support for his friend’s sincere apology.

This apology came hot on the heels of news that his highly anticipated album, ‘Vultures’, got its release date pushed back once again. The album, originally set for October, has seen a couple of delays. And now it is scheduled to hit the shelves on January 12, 2024. However, Kanye West will not be the only rapper to drop a smashing hit album on the 12th of January. There is another rapper who will be releasing an album on the same date.
