“Free Thug”- Pop Icon Post Malone Names Young Thug His Favorite Artist of All Time, Calls for His Release Amid Trial

Post Malone who was recently in the news for breaching the charts with Taylor Swift in this year's big hit album, is again making waves for his support of the accused rapper.
Young Thug gets a new supporter in Post Malone

Speaking on This Past Weekend Podcast a couple of days ago, Post Malone hailed praises to Young Thug, calling him his favorite lyricist and melody maker. "Free Young Thug by the way!," Malone exclaimed, recalling his introduction to Thug's unique sound on ‘Loaded’ featuring Peewee Longway. “I was like ‘What the f--k? This melody's like insane’”, he said, praising the song. He marveled at Thug's innovative style, which sets him apart.
Post Malone highlighted Thug's unique knack for music, exploring new territories with ease. “He goes to such crazy f*ckin places,” gushed Malone for his Thug’s music. He did not just advocate to free the artist on behalf of all fans but also had a fanboy moment himself at the podcast, marveling at his approach to music.
Prior to this, the American rapper had been making rounds for this year’s bids to The VMA’s win.

Post Malone's 2024 rise to fame accelerated with the release of his sixth studio album, 'F-1 Trillion', on August 16. The album spawned his sixth number-one single, 'I Had Some Help', featuring Morgan Wallen, which debuted atop the US Billboard Hot 100. This was, however, not his only chart-topping maneuver this year, so far.
The success of ‘I Had Some Help’ was followed by ‘Fortnight’, Malone's fifth number-one single and first number-one debut with the pop queen, Taylor Swift, which broke the internet. The single spent two consecutive weeks atop the Hot 100, further cementing Malone's dominance. With multiple VMA nominations, ensuring at least one win, Malone's 2024 reign has been undeniable to this day.
