Liam Payne recently jetted down to Argentina, where his former bandmate, Niall Horan is currently on his tour for the latest album, 'The Show'. In a now-viral video, Payne was spotted interacting with the crowd and enjoying the vibe at his fellow One Direction member’s show. Before catching a flight to join the Argentina show, Payne opened up to his fans about the trip in a Snapchat video, saying that he and Horan had some things to “square up.”

Payne also added, “It’s been a while since me and Niall have spoken. We’ve got a lot to talk about”. Back in August, even Harry Styles made an appearance at Horan’s show and was seen dancing as the Irish singer performed a cover of ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ from their 2014 studio album 'Four'. However, despite the recent sweet gesture, Payne faced quite a bit of backlash, and fans even suggested he might need some professional help. This negativity has been shadowing the ‘Both Ways’ singer for quite some time.

A month ago, Payne upset fans after he made an allegedly misogynistic comment about his girlfriend.

Liam Payne has had a rocky road since One Direction split up. Some time back, in a TikTok video shared by Payne’s girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, the musician was seen complimenting her date night outfit. However, the words he used to praise Cassidy did not sit well with fans. "Looking good," Payne told Cassidy. "Nice and covered up for once," he added.

Cassidy wore a button-up top, Revolve trousers, a red quilted Chanel bag, and Dior heels for her modest date night look. Even though Kate Cassidy seemed unaffected by Payne’s comment, fans did not hold back in criticizing the singer. While this was just one of the controversies Payne has faced over the years, it seems the internet has mixed feelings about his recent supportive gesture for Niall Horan.
