Kanye West finds himself in troubled waters quite often. Whether it was his anti-Semitic comments, his 2-year-long controversial divorce from Kim Kardashian, or even his Sunday Church Services, he can be safely called the ‘king of controversies’ if not a God, which the rapper believes he is. His controversies landed him in many legal battles, from paparazzi to teachers of his Donda Academy and even Adidas over Yeezys. However, quite recently, it is not Ye but his former publicist who has found herself in trouble with the law. 

Ye’s former publicist was reported to be in trouble with the law in the previous week. Once managing Ye’s media and controversies, his former publicist has found herself surrounded by them, ultimately leading to her surrender to the authorities.

Trevian Kutti handled media management and the business front for Kanye West. Oftentimes, going on to defend the singer on his controversial statements and issues, Kutti also helped Ye grow his Yeezy business. Recently, the Fulton County District charged Kutti with tampering with ballot records and trying to bribe Rudy Freeman along with 19 others. However, she did not surrender until August 25, as reported by USA Today. The photo, which is now going viral, features Kutti unwaveringly smiling as authorities book her for various charges.

Despite having no current association with the ‘Famous’ rapper, the publicist’s past association with Ye has also caused some damage to his media outlook. Clearing the air, Ye’s spokesperson, Pierre Rougier, shared with Reuters that the rapper was not associated with Kutti or any of his ventures since her involvement in the matter.

Kanye West too has oftentimes found himself in legal troubles of his own. It seems the rapper has a hard time sailing his boat straight, as he is now at the center of a chaotic legal drama.

Ye has been at the center of many lawsuits. The musician has been sued left and right in many cases. First up, the Yeezy business owner is in trouble with Adidas. The sportswear brand sued him for $75 million in unpaid dues when their partnership terminated back in 2022 due to his anti-Semitic comments. However, Ye won the same when the freeze was overturned, giving the rapper a silent win. 

The list of rapper’s lawsuits is long with even teachers of his Donda Academy suing him over unsafe infrastructure. While he emerged victorious in some, only time can testify if he will win against all odds.
