Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé is a 2 hours and 48-minute documentary of the pop star’s entire catalog of 56 shows across 39 cities. The celebrated movie stands testament to her amassing a whopping $579 million and 2.7 million fans. The singer recently held a private premiere in Beverly Hills and summarized “It’s the best time of my life” at one point in the movie.
The film showcases behind-the-scenes, the challenges, and the hurdles that went into making The Renaissance Tour a grand success. Additionally, it will also feature interviews, guest appearances, and candid talks with the singer as well as her star attendees. All in all, it would celebrate the legacy of the most decorated artist in Grammy Award history. “I spent so much of my life a serial people pleaser, and finally, I don’t give a f*ck.” The line is a direct implication of the concert that had Beyoncé evolve into “getting better”.
Notably, the ‘Halo’ singer went to great lengths to ensure that no single footage crept out without her discretion with exclusive premieres.
Two tightly secured premieres before release highlight Renaissance film
The 42-year-old singer held the most recent star-studded first premiere of her concert movie on the 26th of November in Los Angeles with another one in London to follow on the 30th. Interestingly, the security at the venue was airtight. Not only were the guests at the safest haven possible, but the content itself stood behind several barriers to ensure that no unwanted leaks went out before the December 1 release.

Among the attendees were Lizzo, Hailey Bieber, Kelly Rowland, Lori Harvey, and Gabrielle Union. Additionally, the theme followed was “cozy opulence”. The stars all descended in color codes of silver and remarkably, almost every intricate detail about the event was painted in that very color. From silver popcorn buckets to silver envelopes of perfumeries, the guests basked it all as the mega show prepped itself for its global roll-out.
