“F*ck Adidas”- Kanye West Puts the German Sportswear Giant on Blast With His Fans by His Side in Paris
Kanye West and Adidas have had their fair share of drama over the years. Adidas decided to end its nearly decade-long partnership with the rapper after conducting a review in 2022. Consequently, their flagship product – Yeezy, which emerged from the collaboration between Ye and Adidas, got discontinued as well. With West’s increasingly controversial views, both privately and publicly, Adidas also restated its ownership of the designs for all products co-created with Ye.
Nonetheless, the rapper is now unleashing his fury in a backlash against the German sportswear brand, with the support of his fans in Paris.

Since his recent album release party for ‘Vultures 1’, Kanye West has been hanging out in Paris. Alongside his wife, he has been making appearances at fashion week events. Now, he has taken his Parisian stay to the next level by launching an attack on Adidas. A video circulating via Donda Times, a fan page on X, formerly Twitter, showed Kanye West emerging from his car to sign a vinyl of his fifth studio album, ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’. Meanwhile, fans nearby broke out into a loud chant- “F*ck Adidas.”
Kanye West appeared to endorse the chant by raising his hand in the air to encourage the crowd. However, he did not linger for too long and soon returned to his car after signing the vinyl. According to reports, this year West is considering launching his own brand or expanding his Yeezy empire. And this could be one of his strategies to assert his dominance in the market among major competitors. Recently, some insider information about Adidas’ deal with Ye surfaced, suggesting that the issues were not one-sided.
Adidas allegedly imposed some unjust restrictions on Kanye West during his tenure with the company.

Some clauses from Kanye West’s contracts with Adidas surfaced online a few days back. It was alleged that Ye was not permitted to take a consecutive 30-day break to focus on his mental health and well-being, as reported by Fast Company. This restriction could have resulted in Ye losing a significant share of his stakes, potentially costing him billions.
According to Alexandra Roberts, a law and media professor at Northeastern University School of Law, Adidas was shaping its morals clause partly based on its existing knowledge of Ye, which was not quite fair, as reported by the same publication. Nonetheless, the Grammy-winning rapper is determined to make his fashion comeback as resounding as his musical one.
