Fans Sense the Unreleased ‘Unlock’ Coming as Ye Previews New Music at the Latest ‘Vultures’ Party
It is safe to say that 'Vultures 2' did not live up to the hype, or so what most fans believe. Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, despite his best efforts to revive his musical allure with the latest release, found himself entangled in a mess of backlash and controversy. However, that has not led fans to stop believing in the rapper. Despite the frustration of Ye’s frequent delays, fans are once again jumping on the hype train in the hope that the 'Vultures' creator will eventually release some unreleased tracks from the album.
This spark of hope was kindled at a recent 'Vultures 2' party in Los Angeles, where Ye gave a teaser of some new music. Ye took over the DJ booth and treated the crowd to a non-stop mix of eclectic ‘80s hits through an aux cord. Among the many tracks he played, there was a moment when fans picked up on some ‘Unlock’ vibes from one of the songs. 'Unlock' is an unreleased track by Ye and Ty Dolla $ign and was intended to be the eighteenth and final song on the first volume of 'Vultures'.

The track was, however, swapped for ‘Dead’ when the final track list was unveiled. Ye also played classic ‘80s hits from Prince, the Eurythmics, and the Eagles, before moving on to his own songs and those by former mentor and boss Jayn Z. The 'Graduation' creator also played three consecutive tracks by Diddy and R. Kelly, the same people whom he had referenced in the track, 'Carnival'. Nonetheless, it was the moment the rapper teased the ‘Unlock’-esque music that had fans’ heartbeats racing.
Fans have flooded the comment section ever since, with their anticipation for 'Unlock' after 'Vultures 2's disappointment.

Ye is doing everything in his power to control the damage from 'Vultures 2'. Whether he is reuniting with his old collaborators or adopting Taylor Swift’s variant strategy, the rapper is leaving no stone unturned. Judging by fans' reactions, it seems that releasing some unreleased tracks, including ‘Unlock,’ could help mend the damage. While some fans commented, “Getting Unlock vibes with this,” with fire emoticons, others simply filled the comments with the track's name.
“WTF. WE NEED IT,” demanded one fan, while another suggested that releasing ‘Unlock’ would signal the ultimate return of Ye’s glory days, asking, “are we back”. However, some fans could not overlook the AI accusations that have stuck to Ye since the release of Vultures 2. They made comments like, "His voice sounds ai" or "Ye clone". Regardless, it is clear that the demand for ‘Unlock’ among Ye’s fans is massive.
